::MRS-340M Shifting Arbor Multi Ripsaw
 
The MRS-340M shifting arbor rip saws are designed for achieving maximum material yield with greatly reduced setup times. It is equipped with a fixed blade(s) and one or two shifting saws.

You can program 10 cutting lists with up to 10 sizes per cut list & you have a convenient foot pedal control allow for hands free movement of the shifting saw(s).

A precise laser line displays the cutting line of both the stationary and moving blade(s). Also can be set up as a gang saw for multi-ripping applications.

The four heavy-duty pressure rollers, combined with additional pressure plates, assure maximum stability during cutting.

  • Auxiliary Powered Outfeed Roller
  The additional powered outfeed roller, equipped at the outfeed end, ensures smooth workpiece outfeed even for thick, heavy and moist wood.
  • Powerful Multiple Rip Saw
  It can also be inserted with conventional aluminum spacers for cutting workpieces with 10 - 25mm thicknesses.
  • Hydraulic Spindle Conversion
 

Used for the following applications:
1. As a standard multi rip saw
2. As a hydraulic quick-lock gripping device for saw carriers
3. For use as a plain arbor for moving saw(s) with program/computer
4. For use with single blade/laser for edging and parallel ripping.
  • Variable Feed Speed through Inverter Control (VFD)
 

The variable feed speed range from 20 - 135 FPM (5 - 40 m/min) is controlled by a high performance frequency inverter control.

Feed speed can be easily adjusted on the control panel.

  • Digitally-Controlled Lubricator
 

The machine is equipped with a high performance digitally-controlled lubricator, providing a proper film of oil between the chain and the rails. Oil flow varies with cutting conditions of various kinds of wood.

In case the amount of oil in the tank is insufficient, the warning lamp lights up to alert the operator and the feed chain stops automatically. This safety design ensures the service life of the feed chain and the rails.
  • Three Rows of Anti-Kickback Fingers
  The machine infeed end is equipped with three rows of anti-kickback fingers which prevents wood kickback during cutting.
  • Foot Switch Control
 

The foot switch allows jog movement of blade or automatic movement to a prest position. It is designed to provide fast and convenient setting for the movable blade positioning.

The movable blade positioing is displayed on the screen.
  • Safety Device at Outfeed End
 

An additional emergency stop switch is supplied at the outfeed end of the machine, providing an added safety guard for the operator.

When rear cover is opened, the power is shut off automatically for safety protection for servicing.
 
Available with (2) Shifting Blades; (1) Shifting Blade; or can be run as a standard gang rip saw
